What We Love

  • It's fun to take the paddle boards, kayaks and zodiac around the various islands - Lake Winnipesaukee has so many coves and islands to explore- sometimes stopping for a swim in the cool waters of a quiet cove.
  • Watching the Center Harbor July 4th fireworks from the pier is a highlight every year, and of course frequent walks to Center Harbor to the Ice Cream Parlor.
  • There is so much to do at Lakeview Landing from swimming, boating and fishing to swinging on the rope swing and making smore’s around the firepit, to snowmobiling in winter on the hundreds of miles of groomed trails or ski trips to nearby Gunstock Mt.
  • Having the space to entertain friends and extended family comfortably both inside and out.
  • Listening to the banter of the day’s activities as we gather around the dining table, or in front of a roaring fire in the living room.

A classic New Hampshire waterfront retreat overlooking the calm waters of Center Harbor, with 100-year-old majestic red oak trees that grace the 185 feet of shoreline on Lake Winnipesaukee; highlighted by a timber frame 2-bay boat house, a grandfathered concrete pier from a prior era when the steamship came up from Alton Bay, and a sandy walk-in beach and mooring. This one-of-a-kind craftsman home completed in 2010, and nestled in a grove of black walnut trees, offers 6,700 square feet of quality living space suitable for multi-generational use. It includes 4 en suite bedrooms, a timber frame, fully equipped loft apartment with bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchen and private entrance; and a finished walk-out lower level. Quality is evident throughout with tall wainscot, reclaimed oak floors, custom cabinetry, 9 ft ceilings and plaster walls. As you walk through the house on all three floors, there is a feeling of spaciousness yet plenty of cozy nooks.

The kitchen, which is open to a large dining area, is designed for optimal cooking with well-appointed appliances, custom distressed cabinetry and a large center island with seating, prep sink, wine cooler and wine rack. A three-story stone fireplace is the focal point of the spacious living room with beamed ceiling and pillars accented by a wall of windows and outside access.

There are two master suites, the first floor with a private balcony, and the second-floor master with gas fireplace, walk-in closet, spacious bath and large private deck. The lower level is bright with a large bedroom, family room with home theater, dining area, kitchen, workshop and bunk room. A full bath has an exterior door for easy access from outdoor activities on the lake.

Extensive outdoor entertaining space includes an upper terrace with gas grill, and a lower terrace with a fire pit, each with peaceful views of the lake. The large pier provides ample seating to watch family and friends enjoying the lake kayaking, water skiing, paddle boarding or a spin on a jet ski or the July 4th fireworks in Center Harbor. A separate swim dock makes for easy access to the water and fishing.

Sited on 1.01 acres on a private drive, the property is an easy walk to Center Harbor restaurants, stores and ice cream parlor. The current owners hope that the future owners enjoy the property as much as they have and are looking forward to downsizing to a new home on the adjacent lot as neighbors.
