What We Love
About SOL LUNA FARM

  • Enjoying morning coffee on the back porch as we watch the rising sun light up the mountains and valleys; listening to the morning songbirds and bluebirds.
  • Living in a piece of Vermont history, in a lovely, welcoming community with all the modern comforts of a luxury home; stunning views, tranquility and beauty.
  • Walking out the back door, year-round, to hike, snowshoe, or ski on miles of groomed trails, meandering through the forest in all directions, or wandering along the stream.
  • After an active day outside, coming back to a home that has existed here for almost two centuries, but with all the amenities of today. The best of both worlds!
  • The opportunity to share this magical place with family, friends, and guests, in a spacious home filled with light and views; in the yoga barn studio or the “Goat Shed” dining & event space; outdoors in the herb and flower gardens; and along the forest trails.

A tranquil refuge surrounded by rolling meadows, old growth sugar maples, and stonewalls, historic Sol Luna Farm is located at the end of a quiet, tree-lined road. Situated on 67 +/- acres with stunning mountain views, rambling trails, and a spring-fed pond, this newly renovated, c1850 farmhouse has a rich history and soul. In every room, this home reflects a laid-back country lifestyle, with its large kitchen and soaring cathedral ceiling in the great room, each housing an expansive fireplace. The formal dining room, with its antique hemlock floors and fireplace, welcomes elegant dinners. The library/office and sitting room open up to the wrap around porch, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. There is a master suite and 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor, while the third level offers a bright and airy room with a 10’ 8” ceiling, suitable for use as an office, meditation room, or additional bedroom.

In the big red barn’s 2nd level, the owner currently teaches yoga in a spacious studio, while the lower level includes a 2-car garage, heated workshop, and space for equipment, livestock or horses. The “goat shed” (with a kitchen) faces the Green Mountains, and is used as a classroom and a place to invite friends and family to celebrate a wedding or harvest dinner.

From the fabulous hilltop views, herbal gardens, centuries-old blueberry bushes, and pond, brook, and miles of onsite woodland trails, it is an environment that encourages a sense of peacefulness and connection to nature.

Close by and just a short walk away, hikers can access an old military trail, built in 1759, on a route that once connected New Hampshire and the South to Lake Champlain, opening Vermont up to both early settlers and soldiers.

Sol Luna is minutes from great towns and restaurants, ski destinations, theater, music and art, and a plethora of outdoor sports.
